Not a dry eye in the house during a perfect wedding ceremony at Daniel Chapel, Furman University, Greenville. A spirited day, for sure. After the moving proceedings, we were off to tony Poinsett Club. As one older gentleman, who knows, told me in hushed tones: “Southerners like Southerners”. So I guess that counts in my favour, as an African Southerner myself. Belles, whistles, remembrances, old fashioneds, new friends, family, great, great times.
Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Rook, or as I call them, EP and Joe. A day, a time to remember. Oh, and then the very next day, an awesome goodbye brunch, on top of the world.
